5 Ways to Make a Waqf

Awqaf SA presents 6 simple ways or formats to make your waqflillah. Once you have decided on the format eg cash, goods, property

  • 1% per month – contribute a % of your earnings on a regular monthly basis by debit order

  • 1% options -  contribute a % of your earnings quarterly/half-yearly annually/ or once-off by debit order

  • Direct Lump Sum –  any amount (large or small);  once-off, regular, or occasional

  • Al Maal –  tangible goods eg jewellery, coins, property/real estate

  • Al Wasiyyah – bequeath a portion of your estate (up to 1/3) through your Islamic will
